The Pharaoh’s are the closest budget priced chips we have that compare to a Paulson. Each chip is solid clay and is custom molded just like a Paulson. The chips have a soft feel and the dull thud sound of more expensive chips. The chips weigh 10 grams each. The technology of poker chips has greatly improved and we can’t believe how nice these chips are for the price!
Please note that there are two different versions of these chips. The Pharaoh’s were originally made by Paulson and were the best selling Paulson chip ever made. Paulson stopped making these chips in 2009. The Pharaoh’s design was so popular that we had to make them again on our new China Clay chips.

*ONLY* Gripe, the $5 and 25¢ chips are thicker than the $1’s… Makes double stacking very difficult, and doesn’t look pleasing…

Great looking chips, stack and shuffle amazingly. Like 3BetCS, I noticed the slight variation in thickness with stacks next to each other. Yes, they could be better but for the price, I don’t take issue with it. If these were premiums or custom, I’d be upset but China clays get some Leeway.

Ordered 600 of these chips as my first decent cash set. I got every variant from 25¢ to $500. From the factory they come a bit dull and dusty but clean up very nicely! Apaches Oiling process worked very well for me. Love the classic Blue / White / Red / Green / Black progression and the edge spot progression is a nice plus as well. These chips shuffle and stack well and sound great. I will say however, the $1 and $100 chips are quite thin (about 1 chip width when stacked to 20) this isn’t a huge problem but something to be aware of. Lastly I am a bit disappointed in the structural integrity of the $100 chips. Of the 75 that I ordered I had 3 that have broken with little to no use at all and 2 that were broken out of the box. Maybe I just got a bad lot but that was a bit disheartening. Other than that, these chips really are great. They look amazing in the rack though are a bit loose in the standard Apache Rack. I will say they would probably work in a 67.7mm rack a bit better as I can fit 21 in the $1 and $100 slots (Apache Standard Racks are 69.5mm). Overall great chip, all my friends love them and I can see myself enjoying these for poker games for many years to come.
